As
a micro-business owner, I realize the importance of building and maintaining
strong relationships with colleagues. I have found The Virtual Assistance
Chamber of Commerce to be a community comprised of professionals building
strong businesses. The networking environment established by the VACOC
is an encouraging and supportive one, while offering educational opportunities,
and excellent discussion on pertinent subjects. Choosing a quality professional
networking association is a critical piece in my business operations,
and I highly recommend the VACOC to business owners in the virtual assistance
profession.

I
came to the VACOC over a year ago with little or no knowledge of how,
what, where and when a Virtual Assistant works. You and the VACOC have
helped me tremendously to grow my practice this year. I have learned the
difference between an employee style work ethic and a business owner work
ethic (yes, I get it) and that is very important. Through this group I
have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and I am now confident and
feel that I can come across as the professional that I am. I have shared
with everyone my ups and downs, challenges and defeats and have been very
grateful that the group has been there to listen. I made it over the one
year "am I doing the right thing" hump and am going to continue
on with my practice. The feedback that I have received has been great,
and I am sure that most people enjoy my sense of humour, LOL. I have made
invaluable contacts and friends through the VACOC. I am glad all of them
have been a part of my life this year.

In
my opinion, the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce provides the best
representation of the Virtual Assistant industry. No competition, but
a sincere desire to see the Virtual Assistant industry promoted. I love
the resources and the direct answers, suggestions and comments given to
those who post on the forum. I also love the format of the forum--all
the posts aren't lumped into one area. I get a better understanding of
the actions I need to take to position my Virtual Assistant practice where
I want it to be.

Renee Shupe, 3Rs Business Solutions
I
would just like to say that I love the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce.
It is a great asset to any Virtual Assistant. It is an incredible community
for support and knowledge. The resources that are provided by the Virtual
Assistance Chamber of Commerce are helping Virtual Assistants every day.
I cannot say enough good things!

I just wanted to tell you that the VACOC rocks! I have learned so much being a part of this group. I know that the VACOC has truly made a difference in my Virtual Assistant business, and I now have the retainer hours to show for it!

The
way I feel about the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce has evolved
over time. Initially, it was a place for me to see what other Virtual
Assistants were doing, offer some feedback of my own, and search for various
resources and other interesting tid-bits. Now, it's become a place I seek
out several times a day, for support, encouragement, and knowledge. Founder
Danielle Keister is an excellent representative of the Virtual Assistance
industry, and the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce website expresses
that. The more I started checking in here, the more comfortable it became.
I have several other Virtual Assistant affiliations, but I can honestly
say that this is the only one that I return to so many times in the day.
The atmosphere here is accepting and inviting. Some of the other forums
can sometimes have an air of exclusivity and feel a little cliquey. Not
this place, though! I feel very welcomed here

The
VACOC is top notch! I guess I was lucky. I was looking for some ideas
of how to create a business plan when I stumbled on the Virtual Assistant
Business Forms. I bought a bunch of them! and went off on my merry way.
I came back later and read more and thought, "I gotta join this group."
At first I thought it was only for seasoned Virtual Assistants, and heck,
I don't even have my toes wet three months later! But I wrote my essay,
created my website and waited impatiently to hear back. The rest, as they
say, is history. This is the only Virtual Assistant forum I am associatiated
with, and for now that is fine with me. After you've had the best, who
needs the rest, LOL? Seriously, my hat is off to Danielle and the rest
of us who contribute and make the VACOC the best darn place on the net!

The
vision of the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce provides an environment
that is open, inviting, inspiring, and professional. It's a place that
the administrative professional seeking to open their own practice can
gain information not likely to be found anywhere else. I have found the
Virtual Assistants who gather at the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce
to be top-notch and professional.
Renee Shupe, 3Rs Business Solutions
When
I initially joined the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce, I was very
new to the business owner world. I only stayed for a short time and then
resigned my membership. I just didn’t have time to correspond with
the folks on the forums. A few months later, I realized that I didn’t
have the time NOT to correspond with the folks on the forums. The wealth
of information, wisdom, camaraderie, support, and construction criticism,
were essential to my company. Since I’ve returned to the VACOC,
my business practices and procedures have improved. The image I project
has improved. My business on the whole, has improved. I won’t say
that owe it all to the VACOC, because that would be denigrating my abilities
and talents, however, would I do owe to the VACOC is confidence to go
forward, and if you don’t have confidence to go forward in your
business, you might as well close the doors.
In
my opinion, the VACOC is fantastic thanks to the administration, volunteers
and the great membership base. Thank you, Danielle, and thanks to the
volunteers that make the forum what it is: The Best!

I
adore Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce! It’s given me such
a wonderful sense of community. A place to go when I have things that
I need to discuss that only other virtual assistants can understand or
relate to. It is a warm and friendly place where people support each other
and give honest feedback, which is always really important in this business.
It’s a group of people who honor the integrity of what we do and
offer respect and loyalty to each other. That’s what I love about
it.

The
only other thing that I would like to add is the depth of information
shared within the group. I've only been a member for a short time, but
have learned so much from this forum. It just goes to show that even though
I've been in business for five years, I am still continuing to learn and
develop, which is something we should all be doing. Through the information
I've received here, I am now going into 2007 with a clearer focus of where
I would like my business to go and what I need to do to get there. Here's
to the continued success of VACOC!

The VACOC was the answer to my prayer. The Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce is a place that I can come to share and gain knowledge from the experiences of other Virtual Assistants. Because the spirit of togetherness exists here, we are able to have open, honest communication without the fear of competition.
Helen Bailey, Baily Business Services Inc.

You
will find the VACOC is "fighting the good fight" every day to
educate and promote our industry in the positive and professional light
it deserves.

Thank
you for your great leadership in the Virtual Assistant industry. VACOC
is my rock!

If
it wasn't for this safe and encouraging place, I'm not sure where I would
be today. There were times in the last year when I was about to give up.
There wasn't anyone in my real life (as opposed to virtual life) who understood
what I was going through as a new business owner. But each time I learned
one more thing from someone here, those "one more things" keep
me going and give me the courage to continue to strive with my business.
I attribute much of my being a business owner to the folks here at the
Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce. I can never fully express what
you mean to me.
![]()
The
Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce, from the very beginning, had a
clear vision of what the organization was to become. The administrative
profession has always struggled with its identity, and virtual assistance
is no different. The coined term "Virtual Assistant" means many
things to different people, and to some it means nothing at all. The Virtual
Assistance Chamber of Commerce has always strived to identify a professional
and definitive image for Virtual Assistance. This aligns with my goals,
visions and desires for my business, and because of this I am proud to
be a member of the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce. The Virtual
Assistance Chamber of Commerce keeps its focus on the strong, professional
development of Virtual Assistants, providing a place for high achieving
Virtual Assistants to gather and network with other professional Virtual
Assistants. The Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce, in my opinion,
is superior to any of the other networking associations I have been involved
with previously.
