Virtual Assistant Industry Survey
Be a part of the largest, most comprehensive, in-depth and representative
survey in the Virtual Assistant Industry.
UPDATE: Our survey is offline temporarily as
we get it updated with new questions and focus for 2009.
We want to provide you with the information that will help you and your
business be even more competitive and successful. The value of this data
to our profession is absolutely priceless and enhanced with every additional
response. Your participation is vital and will benefit the entire Virtual
Assistant community.
The
theme for 2008's survey focuses on how the media portrays our industry,
what they're getting wrong and what they're getting right, our qualification
standards and the issues that give a black-eye to the profession. Our
collective voices can be heard and have a very real impact on properly
educating those who work with us and write about us. That's why it's so
very important that each and every Virtual Assistant take a moment to
participate, be counted and have their say.
Your answers will be handled in strict confidence. No respondent-identifiable
or organization-identifiable information will be published whatsoever.
The VACOC annual Virtual Assistant Industry Survey is open to anyone

assistant experience;
- Works for themselves and is open for business (regardless
of whether they have clients yet or not)
- Is not a virtual staffing agency or team VA business;
- Offers support that is primarily administrative in nature.
Survey categories include:
- Individual Demographics
- Business Demographics

- Employees & Subcontractors
- Clients & Target Markets
- Hours & Services
- Pricing & Income
- Training & Continuing Education

There are a total of 101 questions. Past surveys indicate that it should
only take about 20 minutes to complete the survey in full. You won't notice
the clock though—it's very fun and fast-paced, and will seem like
a breeze. Just be sure you take it in one sitting as you won't be able
to come back and continue where you left off if you stop in the middle.
